“I met Elena at a wedding fair at Epsom Downs and knew she was the right photographer for us. We were planning a very small wedding with fewer than 30 guests, and unlike some photographers we spoke to, she didn't assume we were planning a huge event. It was clear she understood what we wanted from the day and respected that we're quite private people, which meant we felt comfortable from the start.
Communication was straightforward throughout. Even though we were planning our wedding in around three months, Elena was patient and understanding when work meant we couldn't always reply straight away.
On the day, everything went smoothly. She guided our friends and family through the group photos with ease, and for the rest of the day she blended into the background so naturally that many of the photos were moments we hadn't even realised she'd captured.
We're really pleased with the photos - they show the day as we remember it and are exactly what we were hoping for. Elena also went out of her way to deliver them before our honeymoon, and the personalised wooden presentation box for the USB was a lovely surprise.
